Assembled Bomb Kills 3 NATO Soldiers in Afghanistan

Three soldiers were members of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), led by NATO, was killed when a homemade bomb (IED) exploded in eastern Afghanistan on Monday, said a press release issued by the military alliance in Kabul.

"Three members of the International Security Assistance Force died after a homemade bomb attack in eastern Afghanistan today," said the press release.

But the broadcast did not identify the nationality of the victims, saying only it is ISAF policy to delay the victim identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.

More than 310 NATO soldiers with the majority of them American soldiers have been killed since the beginning of this year in Afghanistan.
