U.S. Attack Kills 8 Militants in Yemen

SANAA - unmanned bomber aircraft of the United States (U.S.) killed eight militants of Al Qaeda in Yemen who was asleep at the police station.

The attack was part of the war on terror in Yemen. Al-Qaeda militants in Yemen currently control many areas in the country.

When attacks occur, as many as 20 members of Al Qaeda militants have moved into a police station in the city of Al Wadyia, Abyan province. Eight militants were killed, including one of whom is the chairperson of the group suspected of Mohammad Ali Hadi.

In June, U.S. President Barack Obama plans to launch air attacks aided by the U.S. Intelligence Agency (CIA) in Yemen. Similarly, as reported by the New York Times, Friday (15/07/2011).

U.S. intelligence officials also said the militants of Al Qaeda's Yemen and Somalia are also currently building a collaboration to create unrest in the country. The U.S. also launched his attack through unmanned bombers in Somalia against al Qaeda militants Somalia.

Al Qaeda has become a major concern for Yemen. Yemeni military is also focusing on eliminating Al Qaeda militants who threaten national security.
