Syria Enhance Security at U.S. Embassy & France

BEIRUT - Syrian security forces to concentrate its strength around the Embassy (Embassy) United States (U.S.) and France after hundreds of government supporters launched an attack.

Mass pro-government offices smashed the U.S. embassy and the French and the French Foreign Ministry said three embassy employees were wounded.

As reported by the Associated Press on Tuesday (12/07/2011), police were deployed in large numbers today around the embassy.

The attack on the embassy was allegedly associated with the visit of U.S. and French Ambassador to the City of Hama which is the base of the opposition Yemeni President Bashar Al Assad.

Meanwhile, the United States and France accuse the Syrian security apparatus is too slow in responding to emerging attacks. They are also demanding international safety standards for the diplomatic corps.
