Spratly Islands dispute will be brought to the United Nations

MANILA - Philippine state's senior diplomat to China, will bring the issue to the disputed Spratly Islands UN tribunal.

Philippine Foreign Minister Albert Del Rosario said the Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi did not respond to the words of the Philippines who want to bring the dispute to the International Court of Law of the Sea.

China still doing his claim by entry into the South China Sea and islands rich in natural resources. Beijing wants to resolve this dispute bilaterally. Similarly, as reported by the Associated Press on Monday (7/11/2011).

Meanwhile, Del Rosario said the Chinese Foreign Minister that his preference for multilateral forums to resolve the dispute.

Territorial disputes in the South China Sea waters increasingly heated. China and the Philippines are often hostile to the dispute, followed by Vietnam.
