WASHINGTON - United States Intelligence Agency (CIA) is suspected to have facilities in Somalia and a secret prison in the conduct of counter-terrorism operations.
Facility used the CIA is located at the corner of a walled Mogandishu large airport. The building was guarded by troops of Somalia and supervised by the United States (U.S.).
However, the CIA denied the existence of secret facilities in Somalia.
"The CIA does not have a jail in Somalia, nor do we have to interrogate the suspects in there," said CIA agents who did not want to mention his identity told AFP on Wednesday (13/07/2011).
The mass media, The Nation declared the use of facilities in Somalia to fight militants Shebab which is an affiliate of the Al Qaeda terrorist network in Somalia.
