The robbery took place in Marseille, France, railways blocked and trains stopped.
"The attack on the train is not new, but this is a rare phenomenon," said David Oliver Reverdy police, told Reuters on Saturday (09/07/2011).
After the train stopped, about 20 masked bandits appeared and began to plunder the train. However, no casualties were injured in the robbery incident.
Train robberies are rare in France, but this cowboy-style robbery of the robbers was successful because the local security authorities do not perform strict security on the site.
