Rape Victim of Political Pressure Natural Tepis Strauss

PARIS - A French writer and journalist who claimed to be raped by a former director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Dominique Strauss Kahn, dismissed the political pressure to cancel the charges that he had cast.

Banon Tristane cast dakwan rape of Strauss Kahn last week. He admitted that he was raped by a French politician is when they want to interview him in an apartment owned by Kahn.

32-year-old woman had to wait eight years to bring myself to report the case to the French authorities. Many wondered why he had to wait eight years to cast this report.

Lebanon had rejected the existence of a hidden political agenda of the filing of the report. He also rejected accusations that he tried to win the public's attention on him.

"Everyone who knows me understands that I am aware and certainly not be manipulated when sent a report (rape). If I do this for the sake of publicity, then it will only harm myself," he said in the first interview with France 2 television, such as quoted by Reuters on Thursday (07/14/2011).

Banon admit, when the incident of rape took place in 2003, several journalists, lawyers and even his own mother advised him not to report the act of rape. A similar demand was expressed by the legal adviser of the Socialist Party led by Strauss-Kahn.
