Northwest Earthquake rattles Ternate

An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale rocked Ternate, North Maluku, on Wednesday (13 / 7) at 5:27 pm. Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics or BMKG mention the epicenter is 87 kilometers northwest of Ternate.

The epicenter was at a depth of 122 kilometers and is located at 1.57 north latitude and 127.33 east longitude. Until this story was written, there has been no report from authorities about the building damage or casualties caused by the quake.
