Militants Launch Attack in Yemen Suddenly



SANAA - The militant group carried out attacks in the city suddenly Houta, Lahj province, Yemen, today. They managed to control the city after earlier exchanged gunfire with government troops.

The Yemeni government believes some Al Qaeda members also participated in this attack. They carried out the attack before dawn. The militant group also attacked the city of Aden is not far from Houta. So reported the Associated Press on Wednesday (06/15/2011).

This attack is like a concern of Western parties over the conditions in Yemen. Party militants took advantage of the political conflicts that occurred in Yemen that has occurred over four months. Previously they have mastered the two cities in the Abyan province last May.
