Gaddafi: Bomb Pun Will not Make Me Go


Tripoli - Despite continued siege by rebel forces who helped NATO forces, Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi insists will not come down from his post. In fact, Gaddafi also boasted a nuclear bomb would not turn him away.

Until now, there are no signs of Gaddafi to give up even though NATO troops and insurgents continue to launch attacks in Tripoli and even destroyed his personal residence with a bomb. He just often appear in the middle of thousands of supporters or showing a video is being relaxed playing chess.

"This is the first time they will face the nation with a million weapons. They will be defeated, the alliance forces will be defeated," said Gaddafi was quoted as saying by telephone from Sky News on Saturday (18/06/2011).

"We are in our country and we decided to stay and defend it. We stay, we stay. Let them even use a nuclear bomb," he said.

Gaddafi also called rebels who want mendongkelnya as a traitor and a coward.
