Chilean Volcano Eruption Block Carriage



SANTIAGO - Chile volcano explode in volcanic ash into the sky that caused a flight from South America to Australia had to be canceled. Smoke was still coming out of the volcano within the next few days.

"The possibility still exist eruption on Mount Puyehue in the southern Andes, Chile," says the National Geological and Mining, told AFP on Wednesday (06/15/2011).

The possibility of an eruption is bad news for every airline that flies to Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil and other countries.

One passenger plane that caught the dust cloud is UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon who was traveling from Argentina to Uruguay.

Ban is also scheduled to go to Brazil, but now the condition seems not possible for Mr. Ban to continue his journey.
