Women's Royal Air Force Train Afghan Women

LONDON - A woman who joined the British Air Force to train four women of Afghanistan to become a fighter pilot.

Emma Atkinson is 22 years old, became the first female coach in Afghanistan in Kabul Lab Thunder Flight School, where students learn to fly a simulated plane. In addition, Emma is also the youngest pilot in the Royal Air Force.

"I was very impressed, the women of Afghanistan is really like to work hard and they succeed," said Emma, as quoted by ANI on Saturday (06/18/2011).

"These women got a little unpleasant comments from the men, this is a severe test for them," he added.

Train Afghan women became a fighter pilot is a good action. In the era of the Taliban leadership, women are regarded as slaves and they were forbidden to get an education.

The four women of Afghanistan will also go to the United States to get further training.
