The relationship between sperm quality with a sport bike, began to lift. A study byBoston University found that cycling is performed at least five hours a week, turned out to worsen the quality of sperm.
The study titled "Fertility and Sterility" done to the bike athletes. According to one of the team, Lauren Wise, the study was conducted between cycling relationship withreproductive organs, urinary tract problems and quality of sperm.
"We found an association between sperm quality with physical activity done," he was quoted as saying by Reuters. However, he acknowledged, the warning still too early.
This conclusion is based on observations conducted on 2.200 men at fertility clinics. In addition to examples of sperm, they were also asked to answer questions abouthealth and physical activity.
After examining the medical records, food to clothes in which to use, the researchers found, men who frequently exercise, have impaired sperm than those who neverexercise.
When Wise and his team examined the type of exercise performed, it turns out the respondents said they often cycled at least five hours a week. The number and qualityof their sperm, was two times lower than those not cycling.
Trauma or rising temperatures around the scrotum is thought to affect sperm quality. But Wise acknowledged, further research needs to be done about it.
