BANGKOK - Former Thai famous pimp trying to change the bad image by trying to become a member of parliament. He vowed to eliminate corruption that hit Thailand.
Chuvit Kamolvisit felt himself worthy to lead the country in the war against corruption.He felt confident that it can grab seats in parliament in general elections next Sunday, July 3.Therapeutic Massage is a former King, to assess people's current uneasy with hypocritical politicians who are circulating in Thailand.
"Politicians like diapers, they need to be replaced. If not, then the political (in Thailand) will continue to be dirty," said Chuvit quoted as saying by the Associated Press on Tuesday (06/28/2011).
Chuvit step is not a joke at all. He never won a parliamentary seat in 2005, but its membership was canceled because it was considered not long ago a member of his party at that time. He even ran for governor of Bangkok twice, and reached third.
But in his last campaign for governor, immediately Chuvit reputation sank after hitting an emcee. At that time the announcer was asking questions that are not favored Chuvit, he beat and kicked him until the fall.
"When I entered the political era, I was not aware it was something dirty even for me (as a former pimp)," said Chuvit. "Politics as a gamble, you know you can lose all the money but only continue it," he said.
If elected as a member of parliament today, Chuvit vowed not to join government koalis. He would stand alone as an independent representative of the anti-corruption, no matter what the outcome will be acquired.
Chuvit fight against corruption in Thailand began in 2003. At that threatened his sex business raided by the police. He was paying bribes to security forces that raided his business did not participate.
But in the end, a row of massage parlors and brothels remained his razed to the ground. He also fought back by proving that he gave bribes to the police.The case became controversial scandal that rocked Thailand. Since then he played as a hero against corruption in Thailand.
