100 Taliban Killed in 4 Days of Military Operations

KABUL - An estimated 100 Taliban militants were killed in a joint NATO and Afghantroops within four days in the province of Kunar.

This operation was launched in Wata Poor District, Kunar Province. Reported byapproximately 100 Taliban militants were killed. Several other people were arrested.

Several groups of Taliban who are not from Afghanistan were killed in the operation.Authorities also seized many weapons in the operation. So reported Tolo News, Tuesday (28/06/2011).

NATO Security Force (ISAF) said, "there were no casualties from the Afghan forcesand civilians".

Poor Wata district is prone areas. Militants also often launched its activities there.
