Gas Leaks, 4 Killed in Explosion in Israel


JERUSALEM - A large explosion occurred in the city of Netanya, Israel Friday, June 16 pm local time. This explosion causes the four people were reported killed.

The explosion was directly caused damage to the apartment and threw a glass window at the busy street below. Local police said the explosion was an accident. So reported the Associated Press on Friday (17/06/2011).

According to Police Chief Shimon penyilidik Shomroni currently party to find out the cause of the explosion. They continue to estimate the explosion occurred due to gas leak.

The police continued to interrogate a technician check the flow of gas in the building during the examination on Thursday 15 June. Police looking into the possibility if there is negligence committed by the technicians during the examination.

Many Israelis were indeed dependent on supplies of natural gas for cooking and warming the body. While the owner of the restaurant which is located close to the building admitted he smelled gas and menciumkan leak to the fire department approximately one hour before the explosion.
