Tunis - Moammar Gaddafi loyalist troops seemed to lose direction. An army-owned rocket was reportedly landed in the territory of their neighbors, Tunisia.
The explosion was not known to cause damage or casualties. The incident was not the first time this has happened. Previous May 17 last, rocket Libyan troops also touched the area of Tunisia. Tunisian Government had threatened to bring the issue to the Security Council of the United Nations (UNSC).
"At least five rockets fell in the territory of Tunisia today in the City Mrabeh. The attack was waged by the forces Gaddafi," said one resident quoted by Reuters on Tuesday (14/06/2011).
Mrabaeh region around the border of Libya and Tunisia. The area consists of mountains immediately adjacent to the western region of Libya.
Local authorities worried about the rockets that could have touched the main border region in Wazen. Usually in the City Wazen many victims gathered in a particular celebration.
