Qadafi intelligence officials defected to the Opposition

DUBAI - The second in command of the ranks of intelligence services and the health minister Muamar Qaddafi joined the National Transitional Council or Oposis. Similarly, an interview aired by Al Arabiya television station on Wednesday (24 / 8).

"I put myself to serve the country and called on all the generals and soldiers to fight and to join the Revolution of February 17," General Ali said in an interview with television station.

He added that the situation has changed with the entry of insurgents into the capital of Libya, Tripoli. But he warned the situation has not completely safe from the threat qadafi, although the rebels had taken control of Tripoli.

"Regime (Gaddafi) had tactics and deceit, and can do anything. I warned that the rebels are not complacent and are always careful," Hijazi said, without elaborating.

Libyan rebel soldiers on Wednesday (24 / 8), also took over military bases Mazraq Ash-Shams in the port city of Libya, Zuara, about 60 kilometers from the border with Tunisia.

Leader of the National Transitional Council (NTC) Mustafa Abdel Jalil told France-24 television station that as many as 600 fighters pro-Gaddafi has been arrested but the battle will not end until the Libyan leader himself in jail.
