ISTANBUL - Turkish police officers arrested 15 suspected members of Al Qaeda will launch attacks to the Embassy of the United States (U.S.) in Ankara.
Department of Ankara Anti-terror police arrested nine suspects and seized 700 kilograms of suspected chemicals is a raw material for making bombs, as well as rifles, bullets, sketch maps and documents seized. Six other suspects were arrested in the city of Bursa and Yalova, Turkey. Similarly, as reported by the Wall Street Journal on Thursday (07/14/2011).

The arrest of the suspects came amid the emergence of allegations in the Turkish mass media stating there will be attacks launched to Turkey to avenge the death of Osama bin Laden.
Al-Qaeda militants have launched several attacks into Turkey in this decade, including bombings at synagogues, the British Embassy and HSBC bank in Istanbul in 2003 ago. As many as 60 people were killed in militant attacks.
Al Qaeda had also attacked the U.S. consulate in Istanbul in 2008 and killed three policemen on guard in front of the consulate.
