LONDON - British Prime Minister David Cameron defended themselves associated with bribery and wiretapping scandals conducted by newspapers the News of the World.
"The party I never pay journalists who are looking for exclusive news," said Prime Minister David Cameron told the Associated Press on Wednesday (07/20/2011).
Description Cameron filed following the arrest of Andy Coulson. Coulson is a former chief editor of the News of the World that Cameron was appointed as an adviser to the medium.
"If I knew he was involved the case, I would never offer a job (media advisory) to him. I think he also would not accept the offer," explains Cameron.
News of the World scandal continues to drag the important figures in the UK. Previously two high officials of London Police to resign, after being accused of direct involvement in this case.
While the statement of Mr Cameron, the leader of the opposition Labor Party Ed Miliband urged Cameron to apologize to the British public. But judge Mr Cameron, this issue should be described first, given the current status of Andy Caulson not yet convicted.
Following this wiretapping case, Cameron has formed a committee composed of investigators from human rights activists and some senior British journalist. The committee is intended to investigate not only the wiretapping and bribery, but also other violations committed by the journalists.

In a hearing between the British Parliament and Murdoch that lasted for nearly two hours, he admitted to not knowing about the practice of wiretapping journalists who made News of the World.
Australian businessman is refusing to take responsibility in this scandal, although the News of the World is a newspaper that is still a subsidiary of News Corp. property. According to him, the scandal is the fault of beliefs and people do trust them.
