Hillary Rodham Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State will travel to Indonesia this month to the Asia-Pacific security talks.
The State Department told the AP on Tuesday (12/07/2011), that Clinton will arrive in Bali on July 21 for a series of ministerial meetings, including the annual meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
A spokesman for Victoria Nuland said Clinton's visit demonstrated U.S. commitment to the strategic engagement with Southeast Asia.
Hillary will then proceed to Hong Kong, July 25 where he will meet with Chief Executive Donald Tsang and provide comments about the U.S. economic leadership in Asia-Pacific.
Clinton left Washington on Thursday. He first will visit Turkey to discuss the conflict Libya. He will then visit Greece and India before traveling to Indonesia.
