KABUL - Afghan police said an Afghan troops killed two NATO troops who were escorting the group reconstruction team to Afghanistan's northern provinces.
Gen. Mohammad Qasim Jangalbagh inform, the shooting occurred today in the District of Blood, Panjshir province, located 99 kilometers from Kabul.
The suspect stopped the group and then arguing with the NATO forces and opened fire. Similarly, as reported by the Associated Press on Saturday (09/07/2011).
NATO troops did return fire to the Afghan army and killed him. Until now, NATO is conducting an investigation into the shootings.
A similar incident had occurred in 2010. Six NATO troops shot dead by Afghan police officer who is a partner. NATO was forced to shoot the policeman.
